Scientists race to record genetic blueprints of all known species on Earth


Researchers in England are racing to record the genetic blueprints of all the Earth's known species before some of them could become extinct. The scientists plan to spend a decade digitizing the DNA of animals and plants as part of the Earth BioGenome Project. Roxana Saberi has more.
